1996 was a particularly good year for UK Happy Hardcore, in retrospect, it all went downhill after 1997. The original version of Teknostorm by The Vampire is itself a good Happy Hardcore track. However Sharkey's remix is simply brilliant! Sharkey incorporates a much harder kickdrum (influenced by Dutch Hardcore), a hint of breakbeats and good build ups. Sharkey takes the sounds from the original track and uses them to great effect, somehow he makes the melodies sound better on the remix then on the original, adding his own production techniques. It's one of those tracks that is energetic from start to finish, in particular about three quarters into the track there is a fantastic breakdown and build up which always gets me dancing! This remix is a perfect example of Happy Hardcore sounding hard and uplifting with no cheese, something I miss. Quite possibly the best Happy Hardcore track to come from England. Highly recommended.

First heard this track on helter skelter NYE '96 by Dj Ramos.
This tune is bangin and i recommend everyone buys it now. the bassline on this track is shockingly class and the MCing by Marley is the dogs bollocks
