Anyone else have a weird digital 'stutter' during Waiting for the Man? (Just going into 3rd chorus after the line 'you always got to wait' ) sounds like the tape slows and stutters but sounds like a digital effect.. Checked online and can't find anything about it but it's definitely there on my copy.. sounds like it's a mastering issue so I thought others might have it.

Banana is printed on a separate piece of thin plastic sheet that sticks to the sleeve but it can slip after some time...

Going through my first listen right now. Sounds very clear and the lows come booming through and it has some of the same processing issues the original did but with the extra noise removed. Awesome record and would recommend to anyone. Great job on the cover it looks killer.

Just got a copy of this. Sounds very quiet and loud enough. It comes with the original artwork too. Good job on this one!

This is an absolutely beautiful reissue. The gatefold has the original peelable banana sticker, as well as the original photo on the back which shows Eric Emerson (later covered by a black sticker and then later airbrushed out).
The vinyl itself has the original Verve Records label, and the only copyright date is 1967 to match the look of an authentic original pressing.

The sound quality is great, being remastered from the original tapes. The pressing is also very good and quiet. I didn't notice any crackles or pops like some other recent vinyl reissues (the Bjök coloured vinyl reissues come to mind).

Note about the download code: if you can't find it, pull the record out of the gatefold, and unfold the gatefold and check down the deep end (the spine is not glued and so my code voucher had slipped into the front part of the cover).

Sounds fantastic but I'm definitely sure its warped. Doesn't seem to affect its quality but I'm worried no doubt about it. Is it worth sticking a heavy book over it or sticking it between two books? Any tips would be welcomed...
