[Uncredited Info]:
The actor Eric Emerson, protagonist of some multimedia films projected behind the group during the EPI, filed a lawsuit against the record label for the non-payment of the rights regarding his image that can be seen upside down on the back cover on this version. So between March and April 1967 the album was suddenly withdrawn from trade and shops. After a few months, the album was redistributed in a few copies with a huge sticker that covered the top of the offending photo and that you can see here The Velvet Underground & Nico (3) - The Velvet Underground & Nico.

Ok..I’m guess what I actually own the mono original pressing, but why is that, because this the most straightforward I’ve had with a an LP. So my vulgar comment gets by because well every considers it to be the best, sure I broke the bank but at a cost, now if only I had more luck with people giving me an answer on what pressing to get for the other ones! Looks like that ain’t happening.

I need help identifying my copy!
V-5008 on the spine; V/V6-5008 listed on the gatefold; Verve sticker on the back; V-5008 and Side 1/Side 2 on the label; Side 1 etching has VG-558 Rev; no discernible "S" stamp or other numbers.
