A house Jazz band performs Standards while in the background people speak, glasses tinkle and plates and cutlery make their individual sound all of them indifferent to the rather bored band performing without much feeling.

On the B Side the band (I presume it's intended to be the same band) perform Free Jazz for their own benefit while no one listens.

The overall effect of the concept is, frankly, hilarious.

Oh and I'm sure no real sax player could reach those glass shattering noted in the microsecond durations experienced on the B Side. Free Jazz Electronics - a new field to explore?
