Hi. William Wilding here. We recorded this album in 1979. Its an early example of crowd source funding, because we got 60 people to give us £10 each to fund the release. We pressed 500 copies. For their £10 the 60 people got their photos on the back cover, got a free copy of the album, and got their money back when we sold them. The band went on to change its name to 'The Patterns' and then to '...and the Native Hipsters'. We put out several other DIY vinyl releases over the years. Our latest release was in 2012 with a CD by ...and the native Hipsters called 'Original Copy'.
