I somehow picked this up when it was first released and it ended up just sitting in my bins unplayed for at least 3 years... Then i picked it up again and found myself totally stuck on "Sweet Sticky." Even then it took me a while to stop playing it at +6 to pitch it up against 120 bpm-ish house. Eventually, I just let it play closer and closer to zero and found myself much happier with it. This is still my pick of this LP.

"Heal Yourself and Move" is very essential. It conjures that melancholic Detroit spirit of struggle and definance. The cut is interesting as an electronic/organic hybrid: electronic in the sense of Basic Channel-esque minimalism; organic by its inclusion of a somber male vocal proclaiming "heal yourself and move..... let God, be your guide....."

Definitely my pick of this set.
