One of the most enigmatic and timeless of 1970's jazz-rock / fusion albums. Actually, in spite of all the musicians being well-worn jazzers there's not so much jazz but more prog-fusion happening here, with lots of cool grooves, intricate guitars, and wonderful keyboards - not least lots of Mellotron, an instrument rarely heard in such music. The feel is often more spacey Krautrock (of a few years earlier) than the usual recognisable Dutch free-edged stuff that you may expect.
