An exciting album IMHO, yet the concept of recording machines that produce some form of rhythmic structure is not new. This works in a minimal techno context though. If you like your machine works rough and raw - check out the briliant sounds of For Dah Industry Type 203. I also recorded a water powered sledgehammer in Italy in 1985 and released that as a vinyl 7" - check FâLX çèrêbRi Feat. Graf Haufen - Antimuzick. Both entries feature links to YouTube for (un-)easy listening.
