Ah man this tune is unreal! have loved it and lusted after it for years not knowing what it was.. I found out today! needless to say i have already bought a copy.. My fave Krome track too.. by far, although there are a few other killers, but this one. WOW! It's absolutely hammering from the get go, pumping energetic kicks and infectious rhythms, evil robotic synth sounds piercing through the drums..sounding at times real complex and super heavyweight.
10 outta 10 Thomas Krome.. i take my hat off to you. this one gets me every time

I had the red vinyl Adam Beyer mixes and it got sold sharpish
They are boring and go nowhere
This 12 is the best by far

Contrary to popular belief there are NO Adam Beyer remixes on this vinyl. These are ALL from Mr. Krome. Two of the remixes just happened to be licensed from Code Red/Drumcode. I can tell you that Thomas is not happy with this common misconception! At any rate, the first Woodcarver Remix is one of the all-time monster techno tracks and Thomas Krome's crowning achievement. You can't get much darker and nastier than this without destroying the subwoofer. 10 years later and I'm still coming back to it, and probably always will. A true classic of Swedish techno!

Not sure if its the first track on the A or B side, but the rough and nasty one... is possibly the best piece of disgustingly filthy techno EVER! .. its so raw and jackin' that it screams out of your speakers like a deranged beast from the abyss, and is so ugly it somehow manages to be inexplicably funky! For the DJ who likes to BANG it - essential!!

the adam beyer remix of woodcarver is, without a doubt, my favorite krome track...

something about that dynamic. its not the same when krome and beyer sit down together and make tracks. but when beyer sits down to rmx a krome track, something magical happens. definately here and to a lesser degree on the Burn Rubber Burn remix.

Is Beyer trying to impress Krome with the remixes? Whatever it is, it works. This is the track that turns techno dancefloors into pits of jacking, sweating lunatics.
