I love this band. Hailing from Canada and creating their niche in the post-grunge, nu-metal era, TFK are a highlight reel of mosh pit anthem greatness. Thousand Foot Krutch combine a hard driving loud band creating great riffs and great beats with a lead vocalist that soars with clean, melodic, rhythmic melody then at a moments notice transcends into the gravely-scream, edgy, guttural-growl that so defined this time in rock and metal, This album is an essential get for any Thousand Foot Krutch fan or random newcomer to this band, a great starting point if you are a TFK newbie and/or a smart idea if you have any variety of their other albums being that this is a greatest hits. All their best material is here and this makes a lot of sense for a convenient way to have all the best material track-by-track in a row on one album. There are only two ballads in this collection of tracks the first a track titled "This Is A Call" good tune not great but respectable effort. The second ballad titled "Breathe You In" is the much better of the ballads in my honest opinion. The rest of the tracks are made to turn up loud, drive fast, and/or hit the weight bench, and heavy bag, in the garage to. TFK are a Christian band which is a major plus for me as I am Christian, I appreciate the uplifting lyrics, the band writes from the perspective of positive motivation, soulful drive, redemption, and triumph. Introduce yourself to Thousand Foot Krutch "Made In Canada" is a great place to start. Social Code another band I am a huge fan of from Canada also from this same era of rock very much reminds me of TFK and another great band to check out if you like TFK.
