The original music for this release was by a German band called ‘Wunderverke’. Bambaataa was introduced to their music by ‘Rusty Egan’ from ‘Visage’. On some of the labels the music is credited to Wunderverke & on the UK release it’s credited to Rusty Egan. Also look out for the sample of ‘Metal on Metal’ from Kraftwerk’s ‘Trans Europe Express’.

Absolute classic classic cut. Something of a theme song for many, as well as a movie. Ushering in the wildstyle graff with a song. Thanks to; everyone. Prince, Kraftwerk, any others I might have forgotten? Those two on one record? something was definetly bound to happen as a result of that mishap.
connect the dots funk, future funk, and one for the heads.
