Timothy Leary is as witty as ever in this recording. He rolls-off the puns as well as any professional stand-up comedian, however he always has a message and the comedy routine is just a conduit towards higher understanding of human evolution.

This speech is a great compilation of his ideas and his personal story. He touches upon his usual topics of authorities, evolution, turning-on, and migration. While he does talk about drugs quite a bit, he doesn't go into too much detail about LSD or a typical LSD experience. He does however talk a bit about a new drug (at the time), ecstasy, or as he calls it "XTC".

This is an audience recording and unfortunately the speech sound is distant and a bit muffled and there is some heckling from the crowd. Fortunately there isn't much tape hiss, but the recording is far from clear. It is however very enjoyable if only for the charisma and humor present in Leary's speech.
