"Dominion (Sawed Off Cranium Mix)" is a hooky Rock-Industrial track with it's roots possibly in KILLING JOKE circa their first album, although this has a slightly thicker, meatier sound to it with a less hooky approach. It has a certain smoothness & simplicity to it which makes it easier to ingest / digest, therefore compensating for the lack of lyrical hook. "Blood (Race Mix)" shows a similar musical approach, thicker, less spatial than KJ, with degrees of a filtered TRENT REZNOR bleeding through. Influences apart, this is a tasty little record from a group which need to explore the trying ground of a full album to prove themselves true talent rather than pretenders entering the race while the rest of the field are doing a lap of honour. I'll stick my neck out and say they could procreate a nice body of music in later days. Worth looking out for. The album "Synaptic Hardware" should be out soon - keep a look out for it.
