Music for "MRI Scanner's" was commissioned as an alternative to using sedatives on children while they spent time in the rather intimidating MRI machine. The three twenty minute ambient pieces here are beautiful, but I wouldn't have expected anything less from the man who brought us the classic "Life Before Land" album.

To a certain degree this is like the minimal brother to "Life Before Land" and again it displays Tom's unique talent for effortlessly mixing electronics, acoustic and the organic and never ventures into the new age tree hugging arena. The album comes with a warning/disclaimer "do not play when driving or operating heavy machinery" although I managed to stay awake on the very first listen I felt its calming sonic frequencies submerge me into a deep and almost meditative state.

Emotive, deeply calming and blissful. The perfect antidote for modern day stress.
