They may have fixed the surface noise issues that plagued this reissue originally, but they haven't fixed the warping. Got one today and it's edge and dish warped severely. Sending back

Just got a copy of this after being on the fence for a couple years. Anti has fixed all the pressing issues I believe as no pops, clicks or surface noise.

The mix sounds like a Haunted Dirty Bar and I have never heard another so maybe it was meant to be that way cause it does give it feeling.

If your are looking for a pristine mix I don't think it was meant for this album

Just got this black vinyl reissue. My copy sounds perfect. Only a slight pop between ol55 and I hope I don’t fall in love with you which I’m pretty sure was caused by the liner insert and can be cleaned. What a great album.

Picked up a pressing today and it sounds great. I think the issue has been resolved.

I don't tend to expect much out of inexpensive represses - I tend to purchase them just if I'm trying to fill a gap in my collection at a reasonable price, while I wait for a better copy. But this one was a complete disappointment, per the other reviews. A lot of surface noise, the mastering is lackluster, and the sleeve was torn (not the fault of the third-party seller I purchased it from). There was a massive, visible divot on track four that causes about 10-12 seconds worth of skipping. This one is going in the "replace sooner rather than later" stack and then getting turned into a craft project afterwards.

Man, I am so disappointed..... Surface noise is very abundant. And the mastering is fair at best. I pre ordered this from Tom's web site. I thought since he was overseeing this remastering it would be great. A sad case indeed. After the disappointing Rhino releases I also figured they were trying to make good on those releases. What a friggin' bummer man. Save your money!

This re-issue sounds crappy! Lots of surface noise and crackles. The top of the sleeve is torn. This is my second copy from Amazon. First one was damaged. It looks like I'll be returning this one as well. Dissappointed!

I bought this on the day it came out and had to return it. I didn't get to Side B, but Side A was full of noise, especially "Midnight Lullaby" and "Martha" (my two favorites on the album!), where intense bursts of crackle happened every second, like clockwork, along the same radius of the LP. It looked pristine, and it wasn't affected by different mats or a cleaning, so I can only assume I got a bad pressing. Would love to know if others have had better experiences, because I desperately want this album on vinyl!

Apparently remastered by a Pete Lyman of Infrasonic Sound in L.A. Very anxious to snag this just-released reissue, but waiting for reviews first. Anybody?
