This album is f***ing gorgeous. It's an ear bath that washes away all tension. It is a spring of sonic flow. Bravo!

If one reads about the inspirations and inventiveness of Debussy, this variation of his work fits well within his vision I believe.

Pretty much the year zero for me in electronic music. Listening to this as a 7 or 8 year old as my dad played this loudly through his JR149's, getting him to rewind and play again the squiggly bass drop bit on Golliwogs Cakewalk, staring at the street lights outside as my young musical receptors took in the ambience of Footprints in the Snow.
35 years on and it hasn't lost any of its beauty.

Extraordinary, superb, inexpugnable kind of masterpiece. Open your mind doors to the Future. This is specially recommended for those truly open minded, willing to achieve new experiences in Music. It gives the intense listener the certitude that the limit goes above the Sky.

Tomita is truly a giant in the world of electronic music... I am a huge fan & I own just about everything this man has put out from LP Albums to CD's domestic & imports... Fans of his have their own favorite albums by him & to me they are all great... However no matter what I am listening to by Tomita this album stands out as his best... "Snowflakes Are Dancing" is a remarkable album... If I had to recommend one album above all of his releases to buy it would be this one...
