Notes

Press release 2009-11-11: The Touch have been around as producers and as live act for a few years. Both in remixes and in own songs the group has shown a passion for unpredictable mixtures of sounds and elemets that fuse into a solid whole. Rumbling acid basses and Manchester sounding voices has sometimes been characteristic for The Touch. However, the only thing you can take for granted regarding The Touch is that anything they do will come in a truely visionary shape, which is tangible in their remixes of Robyn's ”Cobrastyle”, Rex the Dog's ”I Can See You, Can You See Me?”, Drop the Lime's ”Hear Me” and NY-based voodoo priest Leif's”Black Magic”.

Their debut EP has been played by DJ-celebreties Annie Mac and The Count & Sinden, and it was featured on BBC Radio 1:s Essetial Mix (twice!). The Touch has played well-reputed venues in several European capitals: Berns Salonger in Stockholm, By:Larm in Oslo, La Fleche D'or in Paris, Vega in Copenhagen and Fabric in London.

But The Touch is not only heard on radio stations and dance floors. Stockholm Fashion Week winner Uniforms for the Dedicated releases a soundtrack along with their spring collection. Among the tracks you find "Music Coming from Above", signed The Touch.

Their new single entitled "Xtra Energy" is deadly intense and leaves any listener aching all over. Acid basslines and funk guitars fall in love with a recklessly chanting Zhala. There are echoes spreading from DJ Funk to Gang of Four. Both erratic and visionary, "Xtra Energy" is a blast for anyone who has been awaiting new stuff from The Touch.

The remix package includes amazing mixes by Dan M, Stuffa and Scottish Fold.
