"A Transwave Best Of (1994-1996)"

Mastered @ Synthetic Soundlabs (Ibiza).
Published by Atal Music Ltd.

(P) & (C) 2006 Transwave.
Made in the EEC.

Track 7, Flamicogyre has a glitch around 7:48 which however, as explained by the artist himself, turns out to be deliberately left for the "old-school" feeling. The track originally appeared in the mix Spiritual Trance Vol. 2 named "Flamycogire".

To me this one of the must-own Goa albums, primarily because it includes what i consider one of the greatest Goa tracks of all time, Flamicogyre, previously unavailable on any Transwave release. This is simply put one of the hardest, most intense tracks ever record in the trance genre. CD glitch notwithstanding, it is a must have, right up there with Boundless and Gamma Goblins pt 2 for me. The rest of the CD is great too. Hypnosphere is very reminiscent of that "proggy" style of Goa that Man With No Name made famous with Floor Essence and Sugar Rush. Excellent track. Everything else is solid and pure Transwave. These guys really were unique, easy to see that now looking back in time. 5/5

Code S9 is a monster track. MONSTER! From the razor-sharp leads to the bubbling bassline, this track slays. Transwave has compiled a great selection of tracks from their past, something I wish every artist would do. If you want a taste of what Transwave has to offer, or you've had trouble locating some of their rarer singles, pick this up!

Oh, I'm so happy, that Transwave didn't come with some full-on release, but with this very nice oldschool collection. There is no doubt, that goa/psy style was better in nineties than nowadays, what a hypnotizing sound and rolling synths. When you listen to the first song with killer beats, you become sure, that this album is something special. Track Flamicogyre contains short error, but who cares - erare humanum est and the rest of the CD is almost perfect. One of best albums I know.
