Trip Hill lays out some of the most original ambient lysergic instrumental psychedelic lo-fi atmospheric music you’re ever gonna lose yourself in. Limited to an edition of 500 vinyl copies, complete with brilliant artwork, Trip Hill takes on a sweeping adventurous ethereal journey of the mind and body, one laced with effects and controlled distortions that create what I can only describe as the sound of hallucinations.

Now don’t go thinking that the lo-fi description indicates a laid back meandering of sound, because what comes to life here is anything but, complete with tension, luscious transformations, and a considered and well executed display of concepts [complete with counterpoints] and delivery.

Right from the get-go I’ll tell you that this is no easy album to immerse yourself into, nor is it an easy one to extract yourself from once the formula kicks in and you find yourself jettisoned not so much to the outer regions of our galaxy, but to the inner spaces that exist right here in front of our eyes and ears.
