Can anyone explain why this reissue is selling for more than the original 2012 reissue, from the same label, with the same catalog number, which actually arguably has very slightly more design features (e.g. full color labels)? Is this considered a better pressing?

1) The last of the new, standard-price copies in store & distributor inventories ran out in May, 2020. The 2012 version hasn't sold on Discogs since. Its current Discogs value, therefore, has yet to be determined and isn't reflected in the Statistics.

2) Someone recently paid $97.68 for a copy of the 2016 reissue. That outlier figure not only distorts the reissue's average Discogs sale price, it encourages a certain class of sellers* to treat $97.68 as "market rate". They hike the prices of their copies to that threshold, where they will likely collect dust. And at this point, all more reasonably-priced copies have sold.

* The class of "greed-crazed sh!tbirds," to be specific.
