A bevy of international artists bring their individual touches to Turn on the Sunlight's work on REMIXES/COLLABORATIONS, with Daedelus putting a bucolic and folksy turn to "Firefly Night" and Nobukazu Takemura electrifying and glitching out "Always Enough/Oh, Magnificent Nature." Miguel Atwood-Ferguson, on the other hand, brings in the strings for "Ghostfires From Heaven's Far Verges Faint Ilume," and Koen Holtkamp goes for pure ambiance with "Wednesday Tone Poem." Build an Ark provides two psychedelic electric jams, and the Coffee & Cigarettes Band create blurry hip-hop out of "I Love You." But "Turn On The Sunlight" takes us back to gentle folk, where we belong. Nice.
