This set is a perfect accompaniment for those lonely (more often from choice) times when you just want to plug into an almost alien and yet universal frequency. This is the sound of satalites bouncing sweet nothings across the skies from one on to the next, a beautifully distant record that immediately makes you feel more at home, comfortable in the knowledge that the world is never really asleep, with the constant chatter of radio frequencies in indicipherable languages, like interplanetary shipping forecasts set to music.
Breathtaking and heartwarming ranges of sound that sit alone in their truly visionary and individual take on ambient noise, no hackneyed pad sequences, or floaty pipes anywhere in sight, big respect to Twine!

Excellent album and my first introduction to them ! The combination of female vocals and the easy use of instruments/sounds, sometimes in a loopform, or soft experimental, s a combination which results in a laidbacklisteningalbum. Voice reminds me of Amber Asylum/early Dead Can Dance. Wicked and impressive. Recommended (to play in the dark).

Nowadays it is hard to surprise listener with a new sound and new ideas. But twine did and did it good. This album is a very strange compilation of wicked experiments and never-heard-before ideas which sound just great. Especially such tracks as Kalea Morning and Strobe.
Experimental chillout while sitting alone in a bean bag with a cigarette and bottle of beer...
