The elfin Bolan journeys once again, from his enlightenment and praise of an equine goddess on the single "Debora" and onward, through the realms of his own cosmic Middle Earth, to the place of the Imperial-measured Rock.

With his trusty companion Peregrin Took at his side, Bolan provides us with "One Inch Rock". A toe-tapping ditty that's probably best appreciated when dancing in a fairy-ring with semi-naked maidens around the tree of Yggdrasil. Took, of course, was far too tall to have ever been the only son of Paladin Took (The Second), in Tolkein's universe of Hobbits.

No matter. Who could have guessed, as we turn this piece on its back and listen to the tale of "Salamanda Palaganda", that the Cretaceous elf would transform itself into an Electric Warrior? A formidable being of aural pleasure. But, a being that would begat the glamourous and gyrating beast-thing, named after a chunk of cooking lard embedded with glitter. Aka T. Rex. Anyway, for those wishing to find the path to the door of the magic wardrobe this Ring of Vinyl holds a key...
