This reissue sounds great and I would highly recommend it. Only a couple of issues with my copy,
1) Some pretty bad sibilance on Dirty Day and then the 2 remixes on side 4( I doubt I'll ever play the dated remixes again so no big deal as far as they're concerned.)
2) Right towards the end of side 2 a scraping kind of sound that is probably just a pressing fault on my copy. ( No marks visible on the vinyl that would cause that sound.)
The remixes on side 4 aren't really necessary, they could've just spread the album over 4 sides at 45RPM or just stuck to 1 disc at 33RPM for the whole album.
The mastering sounds excellent so apart from the couple of small issues mentioned I'm very happy with my copy.

The remaster is a bit cleaner/smoother than the original but overall there isn't a huge difference. I disagree, I don't think it blows away the 1993 vinyl master. I played both side by side and at times I couldn't tell which one was which. Not a fan of the two remixes at the end, would've preferred 'Hold Me Thrill Me Kiss Me' or perhaps nothing and keep the release to one record. If they aren't making it 45RPM, why would we need two discs?/ Flipping sides is a drag and disrupts the flow. I rather keep my 1993 original

No problems with my copy; kinda disappointed "The Wanderer" didn't end in a locked groove like the original (ends like the CD instead), but I get why they may have chosen to do it this way instead. The mix sounds a bit smoother over all to my ears and I like how some of the songs come much more alive as a result. Still a solid album.

I agree that the sound on this is amazing, but I have noticed some strange issues on LP1 Side 2. There are quite a few spots where it sounds like there are a few scratches. There are no scratches. The disc is flawless and was unplayed.
I have washed it and played it and still have these issues, especially during "Lemon". It is a small staccato sound of three small clicks in quick succession and it is synced with each rotation of the LP.

Anyone else notice these issues on Side 2? Especially noticeable with headphones.

ADDED: I contacted Amazon.co.uk for a replacement and they quickly obliged. Replacement arrived and is flawless!

Wonderful sounding with superb dynamic range! Blows away any of the previous CD issues (original and 2011 remaster-- didn't hear the vinyl of that one though).

My only complaint is the way the sides were split up. I guess those in charge of these reissues don't think this matters, but there's clearly a right way and a not-right way. This is the latter. They should have left out the terribly dated remixes on side 4 and just divided up the original 10 songs 2+2+3+3. The sides should be (ideally at 45RPM):

A1: Zooropa
A2: Babyface

B1: Numb
B2: Lemon

C1: Stay (Faraway So Close)
C2: Daddy’s Gonna Pay For Your Crashed Car
C3: Some Days Are Better Than Others

D1: The First Time
D2: Dirty Day
D3: The Wanderer

Damnit.

Another superb remaster so many sounds and layers I hadnt heard from my original CD copy. Aside from not being gate fold this is another flawless release.

As everyone says, all these remasters are so superbly done, subtle change yet profound overall achievement, really full sounding record, superb lows and highs. I found an overall layer in a couple of tracks I've never heard before. I have the original also and these copies are far superior.

superb pressing this. flat and centred. lack of gatefold a bit of a bummer, but the remixes of Lemon and Numb cobbled onto side 4 more than make up for this. buy with confidence

No gatefold but a single sleeve. 2 LPs with inner sleeves and 2 bonus tracks (remixes of Lemon and Numb)
