There's no way around it: HYMN is a great track. It merges Ultramarine's love of English folk with their more electronic direction in a cohesive whole, and David McAlmont's vocals soar all over it. As for the other tracks, "Stranger to Wack" offers a nod towards hip-hop, even if it never quite goes there, while "Gated Latin" has that odd horn. "Winding Rhodes" lays on the resonant percussion as a jazzy theme bloops overhead. Good, but the title track takes the prize.
