This record is awesome. I just played it again after years (it's been 26 years now in my collection) and all the 4 acid techno tracks are stunning. I Always thought B1 was called Fuel For The Fire and B2 Attend The Riot. When you listen to them it makes sense... (and I still do not know where the tracklisting above comes from as they are not listed on the record anywhere). Anyway UR the best!

I have this as a white label - you can see an old sticker for a different record under it - anyone know anything about this version? still has the backward playing track too

Micronaut+7 contains one of the quirkiest 303 lines in either the acid or techno genres. Almost with a playful funk quality. Sidewinding, squelching, shimmering, bubbling and grinding the listener or dancer into oblivion. One of UR's best and one of my favourite techno / acid tracks of all time.

First copies came bagged with Fuel for the Fire ep. Only in subsequent editions were the two split into individual releases.

Fantastic Acid EP from the early days of UR. Not too fast either.
As a nice bonus it plays inside out! And come to think of it there's a few Detroit Techno records that play from the inside outwards.

I did indeed buy this in 1991 as part of a double EP set with the Riot EP (UR 010), and this did play backwards with the groove cut from the inside out, amazingly enough.

When I bought this back in 1991 it was part of a double pack with "Attend The Riot-Fuel For The Fire" 12", the "Riot EP" being in a red cover and "Attend..." in a blue cover.

Backwards?... who ever saw a record going backwards? and why not, asked mad mike. let's face it, who cares, the beats are the same, and the rhythm is the reason. the machines only played forward, yet mike takes the time to reverse bits... long live UR. Riot ep remains a bookmark in the awesome lineup of mad beats on a simple raw tip/ mine's got a red cover, and frankly i dont ever want to sell it.
