I've seen a few copies of this reissue lately & wondered if these sounds as good as my original 1992 copy which was mastered by Ron Murphy. Feel free to notify me.

Hard to believe this is 1992. Incredible record, one foot in rave, one foot in breakbeat, three feet in techno, timeless

Laurent Garnier dropped Amazon at the end of a very very messy night at none other than the Hacienda in Manchester and knowing what the track was when it started to come in was just amazing , a real moment in club history for me... tore the roof off and let the all the lights come on for the duration....WOW moment......

I know that Amazon and Jupiter Jazz get most of the hype for this release, but I think Cosmic Traveler should not be overlooked - in fact, for me it's the gem on this EP. The smooth, swinging percussion and proper square bass line are reminiscent of early Mr. Fingers releases, only this track is really dense, perhaps, by comparison. If you like Larry Heard's seminal classic "Can you Feel It", then you'll be all over this slab of techno brilliance. Deep clubs will still swing to this one almost 20 years later. Take a well-deserved bow (again), Mike.

Amazon sends shivers up and down my spine whenever i hear it, even 14 years on. If the sheer beauty of this track doesn't give you goosebumps, you might want to check yourself for a pulse.

I could say that Amazon is my favourite set starter/ender, but it's far more than this. It's one of my favourite music masterpiece, along with classical or jazz tunes I couldn't live without. Mike Banks gave so much of himself in this track that he made the first Turning Point of the label. This track is a reference point in art history.

You know it's a special night when the dj pulls out something like Jupiter Jazz, or either of the b-sides of this one.
Amazon is the kick in the teeth set opener.
one of THOSE records. own, cherish, break out every few monthes dust off, give a listen and get misty eyed over the beauty.
