Kevin's B1 mix the jit-tastic cut from this that any Detroiter house head will appreciate. Let me be specific though, because the label art and track IDs seem to be mixed up. The B1 track above here on Discogs is called the Kevin Saunderson mix, which makes sense to me. On the label it's called the "Instrumental" mix. We are talking about B1, the outside track on the picture side. I've always thought of it as the "Free" mix because of the repeating sample "Free, free, free ...Free as you wanna bee--eee". It plays inside out. ANYWAY: Kevin Saunderson did this "Instrumental" remix and he should be credited, so that could be why Discogs has it listed that way.

Really great tune, Brainstorm Live is the main mix on here, quite a full on Detroit sounding house tune. A strong intro with big Detroit style synth stabs (almost rave sounding, but keeping on the right side of things), vocal that works really well and the kick and bass give the track certain energy. Instrumental is pretty good too, just utilising the “Livin for the night” vocal. On the flip you have some really good less commercial mixes which work really well too. Brings back a lot of happy memories!
