whereas the labels have the shorter names.

℗ & © 1994 junior recordings ltd.

A mispress, Dark & Long 2, does look exactly the same when it comes to cover and label artwork but features "Dark & Long (Dark Train Mix)" on the A side instead of "Dark & Long (Spoon Deep)". The runout on A side differs as well.

Underworld's "Second Hand" (which first appeared on the React compilation Cafe Del Mar - Ibiza in 1994, followed by 100s of similar albums) is a mostly beatless version of the "Thing In A Book mix".

Agree below. "Thing in a Book" is absolutely insane .

"Thing in a Book" is an absolute masterpiece: a long and dreamy path, littered with treasure, as if being on a path where you suddenly find pieces of gold and start playing with them, melting them and forming them into something new.

It reminds me much of Underworld's first visit to the Netherlands, when they amazed the audience of the Tivoli in Utrecht with their improvisation skills, sampling a guitar live and using it throughout a trancey, dreamy live set.

Respect to the music makers and the dreamers of dreams.
