The idea came about via a mix of two records, namely Purpose Maker (Jeff Mills) "In The Bush" and the Patrick Cowley mix of Donna Summer's "I Feel Love" that first appeared on a mix tape by myself in December 1995.

In 2001, myself and Yoz decided to get the basis for the track down in Yoz's studio in South Hylton - on the outskirts of Sunderland.Yoz is an old skool electro and techno dj, who sold his decks around 1994 and moved into production.

From memory, the Donna Summer record had to be edited down to around 130 loops to keep time with the Purpose Maker record. All the painstaking and mind numbing work was done with the minimum of complaint by Yoz.

The first take of the track had a few different drum elements in it, which didn't quite work, so were removed.

This should have been called "Lovin Da Bush" and credited to '586', but there appeared to have been a breakdown in communication between the finished track being sent and being pressed up!.
