Although nearly all CR releases are unique and have something fascinating to offer, I think this might be the most impressive. This one can blow your head clean off if you allow it. Out of this world, almost overpowering. Nothing else like it. See also "Solanus".

Although both sides are very similar, a look around the world of electronic music will tell you that the style Vainqueur has created on "Elevation" represents something of the least imitated style of music. Loud, swirling synthetic drones accompanied by a very clear sense of rhythm (and yet no drums to speak of) make this perhaps the most startling release in the entire Chain Reaction discography. Unlike the works of Porter Ricks, which, although brilliant, have been somewhat cheapened by the countless followers, "Elevation" will always remain a true classic.

Maybe one of the greatest "ambient" 12s ever.
