A solid album of commercial Italo Disco / Mid-80's pop, which will certainly please fans of similar acts (such as Sandra).

Indeed, there's a slight feeling of Michael Cretu's production style to this LP.

Of course, this is a "concept" album, in that the overall theme is clearly based around medieval mythology. As such, you can expect some rather interesting lyrics. Just roll with it.

Admittedly, there are one or two very soppy ballads that you may want to skip over, but any album that includes the majesty of Lancelot is good in my book.

Wow what a fantastic long player we have here from Ms Dore! I was always reluctant to check this one out as it is a little later than her other singles, features different production and sound (and even singer?) and the concept seemed naff. Well it is naff of course but now I love it! I hadn't heard any of this until a friend recommended it to me and I am glad he did as this album is full of shimmering pop gems. I would say the style is less (italo) disco and more straight up synth pop with even a rockier edge on a couple of songs. If you like Tango In The Night by Fleetwood Mac I would recommend this album. It has a similar nostalgic vibe (for me at least) and slick sound albeit on probably a much smaller budget. Pretty much every track has a great hook. I absolutely love Guinnevere, Bow and Arrow, On The Run and Lancelot which I think was the biggest single from this album.
Hold this record aloft like the sword of King Arthur himself!!!
