FIVE STARS ALL THE WAY !!!!
The finest album of the Hagar era and a real argument for best VH album, period. Some of the most amazing individual performances these guys have ever laid down are on this album. The first thing you'll notice is how far up in the mix Michael Anthony is, finally. And Alex is absolutely ON FIRE throughout the album, turning in some of his most intense performances of his career. Sammy, who has historically had an impressive vocal range, pushes his pipes to uncharted heights and notes that are almost inhuman. And what needs to be said about Edward? In my opinion, this is his last great overall performance before the mediocrity and experimentation of Balance and VH3. Nothing but hard-driving, ass kicking jams on this LP, hence all the hit singles it spawned.
