I find this one his last great album. Maybe only a few enthusiast knows that some of his OST albums have double CD-versions with extra tracks, including THIS ONE TOO wha-haa!....

This is musical creation and production at its purest. The evocative composition lets you see the events of Columbus' story without ever having to see the movie. Vangelis is, without doubt, doing the job he was put on earth to do. Anyone who hasn't experienced the musical pleasure of this Album and, in particular, the most amazing musical journey that is track 12 - "Pinta. Nina. Santa Maria" has a LARGE chunk missing out of their collection - Shame on you!
