First impressions strike quickly and Learn How to Shoot Straight struck quick and hard. This is Rock! Fantastic vocals, some stellar riffs with gifted lyrics and I'm listening to a track that would be comfortable in any Rock era. Learn How To Shoot Straight is a rock-solid track that makes me think "Core-Rock" in that it's Rock to the Core, not unlike Motorhead yet the style is all it's own.

Excellent Rock Album with lyrical depth that begs the question, "What does it mean to you?" I think I better explain myself on that one. Even though certain top shelf Rock Songs are written with perhaps a certain situation in mind, it's widespread for one to have his/her own situation that is a fit for the lyrical story. Stellar Intro as well as kicking vocals that kick into high gear with a time changes. High energy Rock Music that is as palatable as your favorite meal. I'm going to interrupt myself here. To be quite honest, I've listened to this album for three days straight and my mind is made up. There's not a weak track on the Album.

This is one Solid Rock Album that is as fresh today as it was in 1987 and although I haven't heard the original which precludes me from comparative notes, the result would still be the same. This is a strong buy recommendation. You won't get tired of this type of Rock Music if you are a Rock fan, therefore it will be near the CD player and most likely your mind for as long as there is Rock music. My first impression was correct as usual in that I really like this Album. Rock 9.5/10 Just a Stellar Album.
