imoda, you try to build on mature arguments, but what you do is to try to close down opinions different than yours. You accuse me of defamation, just to right after it you call it shitstorm of a broken heart.
My target is the audience of such poor music and their reasons for continuing to multiplying the fata morganae.
What you do is simply to defend your beloved artists (maybe because they help you to identify yourself to some urban culture group) by trying to ridicularize any opinions that offend their supremacism art.
IT's a pity that this is how we appreciate music these days. You are problem a guy either with lots of privileges, or trying hard to fit into the western framework. In either case, I feel sorry for the dog that wants to be like his master.

It's music, it's art, its magic. That was probably the most stupid thing you said. Another empty declaration, similar to the work of your untouchable idols. European teenager angst, that is. And its selling more than big macs.

Wow, last two posts are really interesting. Isnt it that hate has a lot to do with love on a different way? Criticising is great and important, but speculations and defamations are poor if you do not deliver facts about things you're talking about. Kinda shitstorm of a broken heart. Dont be nasty, these guys here are delivering quality, kinda quality which comes from heart. Its music, its art, its magic!

Not to mention how heteronormative is.... only vikings club. The valkyries were transformed into blasé girls that should offer nothing but decor to their 'impressive' creations. By choosing to be scandinavian NE managed to represent the whole European youth, as expendable as Zara shops or H&M outlets.

I would love to start to see critical evaluations of such audio pieces. NE unfortunately, found a way to codify the contemporary numbness so easily found in the dancefloor and with the young white europeans and they are translating such phenomenon stunningly, by making superficial music, that doesn't take anything seriously, included itself. Music that is only mask, glitter and MDMA powder, leaving the inside as empty as the own mouth of history. An empty label for empty times. A faulty and tricky rhetoric for times of Trump and European nationalism.
The proof that NE got its marketing right is that rarely one will find a critical word about it, everyone is rather celebrating it, maybe because criticising would be being excluded from the symbolic universe it inhabits.

This is probably his best effort up to date..The paradox here, is that some people like this, while others don't..To tell the truth, music-wise, it is a turn regarding the sound we have been accustomed to thus far, so i can understand the different opinions..
But what you get here, are some really tight music compositions, with beginnings, in-betweens, climaxes and proper endings, as opposed to repetitive sub techno incomplete tracks..Does this mean that everything done so far was not worth it?
Certainly not..There is a time and a place for everything under the sun, and the here and now is time for this album..
The use of vocals on some tracks makes it even more sweet and gives a whole lot more feeling and meaning to the music, while the music itself varies from straight technoid sounds, to dreamy ambient compositions but without the complete absence of the well known sub techno elements Varg has offered before..These elements are there, but they are filtered from a different kind of perspective..
All in all this release offers a liberating feeling to all those with open minds that will choose to listen beyond the first impression, and that is enough to make it in my top list for this year..
