Squoodge Records celebrated the 10th Anniversary already with the Collector Club releases, but if that wasn't enough, here we get an 18 track album with a lots of Goodies from Squoodge. The concept of this album is that you not only get track by track, so Squoodge Records teamed with the hosts of the Rockeville Radio show and so you get a complete Radio show on vinyl. Very nice idea at all, even when a few others done the same thing before. I remember that U.K. based ACE Records released a very similar album in 2005, to celebrate the 30th Anniversary (with Emperor Rosko). Anyway, typical for Squoodge Records, just a few hundred of that compilation been pressed. Around 200 or so, in black vinyl and 111 in golden vinyl. Super nice designed sleeve-ART, printed on inside-out cardboard and sleeve and top it all, the sleeve comes with a one side centerhole cutout, like the LP-promo sleeves in the 50's and early 60's. As mentioned, the album is recorded like a Radioshow to the owner of Squoodge Records and the hosts really created (and recorded) a cool studio atmosphere with all these songs and tracks been released by Squoodge Records during the years. I know that a few will really sniffin' around in the tracklist. For sure they are Elvis Pummel, Bill Fadden, Marcel Bontempi, Fia Sco, Bloodshot Bill, King Salami and a few other ones you really dig, but beware this album contain Gerrit & the Rock'n'Roll Stalinists, Lee Hatepinks and similar, so it's no only pure rockin' as you may like it... it's Squoodge, which means OPEN MINDED and so this Anniversary album is a god peepshow of what's ramblin' at the Squoodge HQ's. Very nice idea, lots of cool music, very cool release at all and limited as usual. From my side was very happy to see that Roland (Squoodge El Presidente) decided to put a Zak & his Unhappy Guitar with “Jack O'Diamonds” on this album, which is an older release by the label. So damn good and in my top ten ranking when it comes to Squoodge Records releases. Olaf Haspel / Mad House Jump / June-2016
