Easily one of the best compilations in my entire collection.

At the End of a Decade and exactly 100 Releases Classic came with a massive Recapitulation of some of it's brightest shining moments. This is a true BEST OF . From the Filter Disco of DJ Sneak's "You Can't Hide From Your Bud" over Blaze's unforgettable "Lovelee Day" and Isolèe's one in a million smash "Beau Mot Plage" or Derrick Carter's psychedelic poltical Groove of "Where U At". It's all here in a nice packaged Double Vinyl Set.
The only song that has aged very poor is Herbert's "Got To Be Movin' ". He didn't use regular drum machines for his grooves and you can hear this now very clearly and it is not sounding pleasant - But Rob Mello's (unknown to me) "Love Nasty" with it's wicked Groove and fine Vocal Snippets make this more than even.
If it wasn't for that Herbert Track and the other out-of fashion Tune by Metro Area this would be a Killer No Filler 5 Star Compilation. But as it is, it is like Classic was - a
label that released a lot of important, innovative and unforgettable Highilghts in the Jacking Chicago/UK Deep House Genre with some mediocre or strange EP's in between.
If you miss more than 2 or 3 of these fine Songs, don't hesitate and get this final Statement. It doesn't take much space in anyone's DeeJay Box or Shelve and it is good to have these Classics combined in your box / next to your Turntables.
