Honestly I don't know what your disappointment is all about :) sure, a record released under a label with your name and showing your portrait on the cover..well does not really add to my definition of underground house music neither. he could have asked dj gregory to do one of his cool cover artworks :)
i have to admit that i've never been able to put my hands on a LHR release before cause they get sold out in a heartbeat. so if you have each record from the label in your collection and find some tracks on this compilation which have been released before, i understand what your frustration is all about. i guess that's the deal with buying compilations, isn't it?
personally i am more than pleased with this purchase - a true collectors item which offers a wide range of A+ underground house music from the last two decades (come on, Jean's Afterthought already makes it worth a few bucks) as well as a few unreleased tracks, and all of them come in a respectable mastering, which i was very glad about because it sure happened to be the opposite sometimes when i bought re-released oldschool tracks.
Thanks Monsieur Naffa!

I preordered it but didn't bought it, i was not convinced.....
Saw Mandar live a few months ago it was nice but not what i like in house music (i went to the venue for point g and this f....... b...... played only for 30mns it's hard to believe when you did 300km for it !!!).
The whole sound of the three stooges now is getting uniform and i don't like it last only big release for me was oscillat 4 with malin genie and now their music are not for me anymore....
But i wish them the best.

Some mind-blowing tracks here, new and old, but have never seen an underground house compilation with the compiler's face on it before (bet someone out there will dig one up for me. EDIT: they did - the entire DJ Kicks series and more...). That said, the theme is in context with other releases on the label (eg 'I don't sync so' series ). So I'll get off his case and be pleased about the great music he's shining a light on. I'm probably just missing the days of face-less dance records beamed down from outer space.
