Love the Bakchich series, this one being my favourite and in particular Ark's Tropikark track. Actually, what happened here, If the truth be told, was that Fred Frith did a microdot while attempting a Mad Mike and the Maniacs remix ;)

One of the records who built the fame of BASENOTIC in the 90's. Motorbass' Neptune (special version) is a collector. A dark, deep and destructured house track. House classic! Cheesy D is a nickname of the famous Dj Gregory (Faya Combo), he delivers a chicago influenced track called "Take the cash and run", a Cerrone's sample on a heavy kick. Simple, effective but a bit boring a the end of the track. But you can reedit it :). I also recommend the Pieces Of Mind 's track : La Befana, coproduced by Sal Russo, the owner of the best record shop in Paris in the early 90's : BPM ! It's an oldschool techno track running @ 143 bpm.
