This is a very strong compilation from the Platipus Euro label, comprising of twenty full-length tracks mixed across two cds. Abandoning the irritating trend of compressing as many edited versions of tracks as possible onto the cds(an all-too-frequent occurrence these days), 'Best Of Platipus Euro' possesses an excellent tracklisting that exhibits high production standards throughout and is characterised by something of a meatier, more substantial sound in comparison with much of the so-called 'trance' music rushed out on other compilations. Standout tracks include Neo & Farina's superb reinterpretation of Binary Finary's classic tune '1999' ('Binary Refined'), which showcases their trademark synth driven sound, as well as both mixes of Solar Factor's 'No Return', the futuristic 'Skynet' by Sunstrike and Marcus L's remix of Sundawner's 'Krystal Dreams'. All in all, an excellent compilation that is highly recommended.
