This double comp should have a higher average mark in my humble opinion. It's full of dope remixes of big beat classics like "Best Got Better" and "We Have Explosive" and rare breakbeat tunes such as "Tell Me" from Freddy Fresh or "Killing Shadows" from Dylan Rhymes.

Furthermore, the range of sounds is incredible. With these 40 tracks you've got breakbeat, techno, house, hip-hop, britpop, jungle, indie rock and disco.
But the best thing is that there's none filler in this release. Each track has its own identity, yet the global big beat work makes these two CDs consistent and steadily rhythmic.

At last, the album title is a nice pay tribute to the famous "Block Rockin' Beats" from The Chems.
A must-have for electronic heads.
