Good series! Japan, Brazil and Europe are the core of the mixture of influences in these cuts. Some are bossa, some a bit samba, some are jazz. The Bossa Mundo series has I think 4 real releases. There's one after this one titled "Bossa Tres... Jazz. When Japan Meets Europe". It is a double disc set that's a bit better than this one. Also, there "Bossa Tres... Jazz Step into the Gallery", which was released in 2002. That one was released under different names though in different countries. Bossa Mundo the remix album is the last one I know of.

Solid artists - French outfit Tom&Joyce got a big push with this series, Kyoto Jazz Massive appears, as does St. Ernesto (in other releases) but the real gem of a release is the double set which also features Salome De Bahia. Try finding her vinyls!
