Time of classics.

Julie's "Believe" is a sadly much forgotten real classic of Chicago House.
One of the top house tracks which was open to the expanding scene to New York and the UK and everywhere, but retaining the solid R&B soul - digital roots of Chicago.
Sometimes the simpler they are the better.
Stunning voice and atmosphere with top percussion, at the time heard everywhere and often called Balearic (from that Spanish scene).

I remember being excited about the remixes I anticipated, but I think none ever came, which was a big disappointment.
I'm not even sure "Believe" ever got a release beyond this very good compilation album.

Cheers to all who remember the spirit of "Believe".

Get into the dance - Maurice is an awsome track with a stabb that travelled and made its way into many other house and techno tracks.
