I find this this to be a thoroughly interesting and consistent double pack complemented by beautiful music and great artwork.
The first cd is a fairly subdued affair with it's array of minimal characteristics and fragile rhythm arrangements, accompanied by two ambient structures by Mike Parker and Koss (Kuniyuki).
Part two is rather less refrained and ascetic in it's composition mainly due to the rhythm being more visible, with the overall experience being more distinctive and organic. The definite high points for this part, and the whole release for that matter, is "S.T." with it's the mid-paced groove and slight electro feel and "Paper Dove" by E.R.P. (Gerald Hansen), an intricate and neurotic collage of organ-like stabs and delicate sonic ranges flowing in and out.
High praise for all those who have come up with the ide and contributed to this release, allowing us to aid those affected by this tragic event though our love of music, I do hope that the healing process is coming along well.

This is a staggeringly good release, apart from being for a very worthy cause. The selection of tracks is quite varied, but all are very beautiful and many are quite poignant. Beautiful packaging too. A classic release. Well done to all involved, and Japan, I hope you are slowly healing.

If I could give it 10 stars, I would in the heartbeat. Perfect ambient techno compilation with a hint of dub techno and fot the good couse.
The only bad thing is that CDs are too short, under the hour each.
