All about the Photek tune for me instantly recognisable to the original but has a heavy razor sharp stepping beat and a super long mentasm section, always found it a real joy to mix as well.. my 5 stars are for this tune alone. The remix's of Pulse and Sonar are Ok but only that, and I can't really stand the Rider tune boring beyond.. .. ..

This was a big release on Prototype containing 4 excellent tunes.

'Pulse 2000' is a tramen smasher which adds the energy factor to 10. Personally the original is the one that stands the test of time.

'Be with you' by Grooverider has a nice intro & is a standard roller. Still a tune which can be played in the middle of a set.

'Sonar rmx' by Optical & Trace does not do the orginal justice but still has that hit factor to it. The bleeps have been re-arranged & the reece twisted that little bit. Original is still the best.

'Inta warriors' by Photek is a nice piece of work & though i did not like it at first, it has certainly grown on me over the last few years. A lesson in how to arrange beats by the master.

Overall this is a good ep & worth checking out if you like deep drum & bass.
