Amazingly (or silly) I never knew it was 10 fold digipack. The 4 lyric pages are untouched as it was bit stuck and looked like it was glued. 10 years old and never seen lyric page. Daft.

This is an excellent, quality tribute to Darkthrone. The featured artists are all legendary in their own right, and their versions of Darkthrone's songs compare very favourably with the best of their own output.

Considering the big names on this tribute, this is a disgrace. There's one highlight: Gorgoroth is spot-on in a gloriously raw and sick way - but of course the song already appeared on their own "Destroyer" album. Thorns at least puts in some effort to make the track semi-interesting, but the rest ranges from half-assed to absolutely abysmal. Rather spend your money on the excellent "The Next Thousand Years Are Ours" tribute that came out at the same time.

A few of the artists have chosen tracks that really suit their style and have really made them their own: Thorns, Emperor, Gorgoroth and Immortal. The rest of the tracks are average, or in the case of Enslaved and Gehenna, a shame to the Darkthrone name.
