After Negativland dealt with their U2 court battle, they were determined to see how an artist like Beck viewed other artists sampling his work...I remember they basically put the word out that they were looking for works from folks using Beck's music as their foundation...Some of this might actually be Negativland, but it's hard to tell, of course, but they were definitely behind it...I've read that this is a bootleg posing as a SEELAND (Negativland's own label) release...It's no pose, it's real...

Anywho, Beck obviously proved himself cool, and paid no mind (ha!) to this mail order only CD, nor the fact that he didn't give permission for this...

I take slight issue with whiskeyclone.net saying the stickered version is a re-release...there was basically one pressing...some may have the sticker, and some may not, but I wouldn't call either a first or 2nd press...

The concept is better than the CD, but I guess it actually is not as rare as I would have thought, since it sells for cheap...it was never available at retail stores, and could only be bought by sending money through the mail...
