totally disagree with the other review. he makes it sound like its a compilation of baccara, liquid gold style euro disco, which it definitely isn't. in fact lots of the tracks included were actually played by larry leven, tee scott etc and are not the popper end of the disco spectrum at all. how you can say fantastic aleems, bunny mack and nycc are not "deep, heavy and 'black'" is beyond me. agreed azoto, baby o and two man sound are more European flavoured, but its not the overall tone of the album.

The question is: do you like the lighter, happier (and cheesier) side of disco?
If your answer is yes, ok then, this is a compilation to get, terrific no-filler selection, but with a clear and strong (white) euro taste.
May i add closer to Saturday Night Fever sound than, say, Larry Levan shit?
Mind that you won't find here the most deep, heavy and 'black' side of the business, anyway whether this is a bad thing or not only depends on your own disco tastes.
