Notes

This album was nominated for a Grammy in January 1978 for the 20th Grammy Awards in the "Best Recording for Children" category.

This initial 1977 release has a Plains, Georgia address for Cornucopia Records. This album was re-titled and re-released as The Drug King's Last Stand after the death of Senator Hubert Humphrey ("The Great Minnesotan" on this record) and was also re-packaged in an alternate version with illustrated cover artwork covering up the exclamatory "Dope!" for titling as simply The Dope King's Last Stand.

Deadwax message (Side A) "Thank You Carol"
Deadwax message (Side B) "Chuck, Pam & The Garden - Miami Springs, Fla."

Album notes on this pressing indicate that this is one of 12 Volumes in the "All The President's Kids" Library and references future volumes of film and recordings (including Booze! The Saga of The Alcoholic Kid) that appear to have never been released.
